Salina Cascino, NP

Salina is a certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She attended NYU for her undergraduate degree in nursing and graduated as valedictorian of her class. She then pursued her Master’s Degree in Perinatal Women’s Health at Stony Brook University, where she received the Academic Excellence Award. Salina has a wide array of gynecological clinical experience, ranging from the Fashion Institute of Technology’s Women’s Health Center to Northwell-LIJ, as well as in the private OBGYN office setting. As a Registered Nurse at NYU Langone in Manhattan, she has accumulated vast experience with laboring patients, during their labor, as well as the postpartum period. She is, in addition, a certified lactation counselor who educates patients about breastfeeding and helps new mothers as they recover during the postpartum period.

Salina has a passion for helping women throughout their lifespan, starting from their first gynecological visit to addressing post-menopausal symptoms. Her passion has led her to present academic posters at a wide array of nationwide conferences, advocating for women’s healthcare- including her most recent presentation on maternal safety during labor and the postpartum period.
