Francesca is a Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner. She grew up in East Northport and attended Northport High School, where she was captain of the soccer, basketball and lacrosse teams! She played Division I lacrosse at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Health Services, on both academic and athletic scholarship. Thereafter, she stayed in Philadelphia, where she was accepted into Thomas Jefferson University’s Accelerated Nursing Program. Francesca then continued at Thomas Jefferson for her Master’s Degree in Women’s Health, which provided her with extensive clinical experience in obstetrics, gynecology and infertility.
While completing her Master’s Degree, she also worked as a Labor & Delivery nurse at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, a prestigious MAGNET-designated teaching hospital with about 7000 births per year. She was a member of the Labor & Delivery Unit Council and her evidence-based project won the hospital’s Residency Award. Over the past ten years, Francesca has accumulated extensive experience in both hospital and private practice settings, dealing with all aspects of women’s healthcare.
Along with her husband and children, Francesca lives in Northport, where she leads quite an active life outside the office. Francesca is extremely compassionate, believing the most rewarding part of helping women is bringing a smile to their faces and making them feel comfortable during their visit.
